A panorama of Thornton Lakes from the South Ridge of Trappers Peak on December 23, 2004. The view is roughly NW. In the left panel is Pt. 6200+. In the center panel are Thornton Peak ("Old Damnation" to those interested in historical precedence), Mt. Triumph (through the notch), "Arc de Triumph" (Pt. 6080+ immediately right of the notch), and "X-dike Peak"(5,960+ ft but shown as 5,965 ft on earlier maps). In the right panel is Trappers Peak (5,966 ft but once 5,964 ft on earlier maps). The lower lake is at 4,486 ft.
