  2. How far is it from Seattle? I wanna take my dad out for some easy sport climbing. He just recently had knee surgery and I was wondering which is the best wall for moderate routes. Any info would be great. Thanks
  3. No offense taken. Sarcasm and witty responses should do nothing but open someones eyes a little more...
  4. Thanks for the info guys, Ill let u know
  5. ive been climbing rock for 19 years now, and I do have glacier travel experience so I do know about serac collapse. Me and and a friend of mine (who has been there quite a few times)were just wondering if anyone has been there in the past few weeks or so just to get some current info. I do realize that ice is a totally different realm than rock. But I also heard that the Coleman was a good place to learn. Is there any other places that are any better that I should be looking at? Im relatively new to the area. Thanx
  6. ok. well I guess ill start again. Im new to ice climbing and I have never been to the coleman before. i was just wonderin' what I was getting myself into this time of year. Any info would be great.
  7. Would anyone know the current ice climbing conditions on the Coleman? Thinking of heading out there this weekend. > )
  8. You people are absolutely ridiculous. You all supposedly climb. Well go out and do something rather than act like little kids. Beating on companies like the North Face is idiotic. If it were not for companies like TNF you people wouldnt have half the gear you own. The North Face pioneered this sport. If you really wanna blame someone blame yourself, the consumer. Oh by the way, go look through your closet, I bet there is some nice North Face gear in there.
  9. Hello everyone. My name is Keith. Im a climber employed at the North Face store in downtown Seattle. A fellow employee of mine, Jeremy Wilson, will be doing a slide show in our store on his hike of the Pacific Crest Trail on Wednesday, Feb 28th at 7pm. He will also be discussing some of his awesome ideas on packing light. There will be snacks and drinks also. Our address is 1023 1st Ave N. (on the corner of 1st and Spring). Hope to see u there... Keith > )
