My name's Zak, My fiance and I are aiming to climb Rainier starting this afternoon around 6pm. We'll head up to Muir, rest and re-hydrate until about 12:30 and then set out for the summit, with a return to Paradise by the afternoon. We have a moderate amount of mountaineering experience. Me more than her. I've been trained in crevasse rescue and am ideally looking for a third who has glacier travel / rescue experience as well, but at this point, any third with endurance and movement skills would be welcome.
