I am looking for a partner to climb and ski the Thayer Glacier on North Sister in the next couple of weeks. I have already tried the standard SW route, and want to try something new. I have skied enough in CO and in the PNW to be a safe and laid-back ski partner. I am looking for someone who would like to get out before work tomorrow, 11/24, for an early morning ski behind crater rock back to timberline. I'd like to get back to town by 12-1 for work. Well over a foot of snow the past few days could make conditions rather excellent. This is an open invitation, as I'd love to cultivate partners in the area. Any type of ski touring/mountaineering is great, but summit ski descents are obviously preferable most days. David dklagreca@gmail.com
