Hi!

I'm looking for climbing partners on an after-climb. Before that, I'm doing an Alpine Ice Course with AAI, to refresh my technical climbing. The course includes a summit of Mt Baker from the north ridge/ coleman headwall. My course ends 24 July. Below are my dates, and I am flexible with it.

1) Mt Shuksan North Face - Fisher Chimneys (29 July - 31 July; 3 days)
Guided climb, ratio 2:1. Cost sharing arrangement, it's cheaper for us to share the guide. i.e. $725/$750 for each of us.

Cost includes: All meals while on the mountain, tents, stoves, cook kits, group climbing equipment, and guide services. Climbers need to have their own personal climbing equipment.

2) Mt Rainier - route to be planned (5 Aug - 8 Aug; 3/4 days)
Unguided, max team size: 4, min: 2. Climbers need to have all their own equipment including ice tools, snow protection -ice screws - snow pickets .., etc. Pack your own food and stove. I can share my expedition tent, and a single rope.

Dates are flexible +/- 1 day

Looking for climbers who have completed a technical mountaineering course before, and have some experience on their own climbing in an alpine snow and glacier environment.

I am aged 26, and have thus far done all my alpine climbing in New Zealand's Southern Alps. I am currently based in Singapore, and will be in Seattle this July - Aug 2008.

Post here if you would like to discuss further. I need to make a booking for the guides for Mt Shuksan ASAP

We can also chat on the phone/video chat or email.

Cheers, eric \:\)

Mt Buckner's and Mt Maude's North Face are also viable alternatives to Mt Shuksan. I am ok with this.. if you prefer, or if you have done Shuksan north b4.
