paramagic
Anyone know if you can just throw down out there, or is it designated camping only? Thanks
shapp
I like to visit the big long arm on the northwestern side of banks lake to canoe camp. Non-designate camping around the boat launch on the west side and up along the shore where every you can paddle to that is flat enough for a tent. Lots of climbing and bouldering potential in that area. Watch out for poison oak/ivy though! Edited May 26, 2010 by shapp

ilookeddown
There is not much on the east side of the lake you can drive to and camp at w/o a fee. North of road side rock is your best bet. I think it is only like $12. Camp sites are on the lake, and have facilities and fire pits.
