Does anyone know where to find kids boots that would be crampon compatible? I can't find anything good for kids in any sizes under a womans 4 or 5.

Finding crampons that small might be a problem too.

i think we should set up a "kids day" at vantage this spring. Everyone bring your kids, and make it a gear swap. One of you organizing type people oughta set something up.
Thoughts?

For Free (or trade for maybe a 6-pack of good beer if you're local): BD Wizkid. 2004-ish model. Very gently used, like maybe 6-8 times at the gym...pretty much good as new. Pick-up in SW Portland or I'll ship it.

Yes, Thanks!

I am looking to outfit my 5 & 3 year old girls with ski gear as well as some rock shoes and body harness for my 5 year old. Last year I kept asking her if she was going to start rock climbing and her standard reply was always "not till I'm 5 Daddy". Not that she is I'm hoping she will take to it but I've yet to scrounge up the gear.

I've got an Evenflo baby backpack that served us well and it is still in great shape. I had a buyer for it but they never came to get it so it is yours for $20. I can meet in PDX or Vancouver, WA. Better yet, meet me at Beacon Rock.

Perhaps this thread should be moved to the Kids forum. Seems better suited there.

Looking for kids ski setup for 7 year old boy. check your garage or closets for that stuff your kids have outgrown! doesn't have to be in great shape, just looking for something that is functional.

Dear CCers,

I'm looking for some rock shoes for a 9 yo with approx size 35.5 - 36 UK sized feet.

Also, anybody want to have a kid's climbing day in Leavenworth in a month or two?

Climb Max Mountaineering in Portland (near 28th & Sandy in NE Pdx) has a small bin of little kid's shoes. I got a pair of mad rocks for my 5 year old there for $12!
