I am looking for an alpine/climbing partner for the up coming months. Have basic climbing skills and looking to climb my first "mountain." murphymountain Posted March 12, 2008 Author Share Posted March 12, 2008 I am in Bandon, just south of Coos Bay. I spend more time surfing, but back in MN I enjoyed ice and rock climbing. I am looking to embrace some mountains. I have plans for Shasta in June. I wanted to climb McLaughlin in early May. Both weather depending. Maine-iac Posted March 13, 2008 Share Posted March 13, 2008 Bring your skis for McLaughlin. I had a fantastic ski from the summit to the car last year. It was a little bit of a pain finding a trail going up through the trees, so just blast straight up from the car park. If you are ever heading past Eugene drop me a line.
