CWC01
Anyone know the rap length for the final rap to get down? I thought I read it can be done with a 40m cord but want to confirm. Edited June 19, 2014 by CWC01
Dylan Colon
When I did it I had a single 60 m rope. I suspect you could get past the worst of the climbing with a 40, but it would require some downclimbing steep 4th class terrain after the end of the rope. Voytek
final rap is short(first pitch) 40m should do it.
CWC01
final rap is short(first pitch) 40m should do it. Thanks, I've climbed it a few times but don't want to drag a 60m up again.
CWC01
Perhaps something a little more definitive to what has been posted here and elsewhere. from the final rap station: -30m* cord will get you to the top ramp and easily down climbed. -40m cord will get you to the first ramp / belay stance for first pitch on north ridge approach. -50m+ will get you to the notch on north ridge. *Belaying the first pitch will be a bit more creative with less than 40m.
