  1. It’s time to vote for the People’s Choice winner of The Nature Conservancy’s 2015 Digital Photo Contest - The New Wild! Every vote counts so please get on your social media and let all your friends know that they have till midnight EST August 31st to vote for their favorite photo; the winner will be announced in September 2015. This year we received over 17,500 beautiful and dramatic submissions and our panel of judges is busy deciding which images best celebrate the wildlife, wilderness and people that make up the biodiversity of our Earth. But a special People’s Choice award will be chosen by you! Our judges have chosen 100 honorable mentions and the one who receives the most votes by the public will win a Patagonia jacket, a one year membership to The Nature Conservancy and will be a featured on The Nature Conservancy’s website. To view submissions and vote go to nature.org/photocontest. Contestants will retain full ownership of their submissions; winners grant The Nature Conservancy royalty free rights to use their photos in support of its mission. For official rules and rights go to http://www.nature.org/photos-and-video/photography/termsofuse/index.htm.
  2. The Nature Conservancy is pleased to announce its 2015 Digital Photo Contest and there are only 2 days left to submit your best nature photos! This year's theme is The New Wild and we'll be thanking the winners with GoPro gear, Patagonia jackets, free memberships, placement in The Nature Conservancy 2017 calendar and more! We're a little low in two types of submissions right now: we’d like to see more photos that depict humans in nature and more diving photos. The contest is open to nature loving U.S. residents over 18; you have till Tuesday, June 30th 12am EST to submit your most beautiful, dramatic images. You may submit as many images as you like via Facebook or through our website www.nature.org/photos-and-video/photography/photo-contest/index.htm. To see the amazing work of previous winners, go to http://www.nature.org/photos-and-video/photo-contest-winners-slideshow.xml. Submissions will be judged by a panel of Nature Conservancy employees and guest judges. A People's Choice award will also be determined by whichever of 100 honorable mentions receive the most votes by the public. Voting will take place in August of 2015. Contestants will retain full ownership of their submissions; winners grant The Nature Conservancy royalty free rights to use their winning photos in support of its mission. For official rules and rights, please go to www.nature.org/photos-and-video/photography/termsofuse/index.htm. @nature_org #newwildphotocontest
