  1. hello!! i'm a spanish living in england, and i'm thinking of going in july to your massive country, USA. So i'm not decided jet about where. I want to climb as much as posiible and enjoy my first time there. If anyone has any suggestion or wish to climb??? i like traditional climbing but i do not lead almost nothing, i'm focusing myself in sport climbing and i really like to try hard routes. Thank you rehanass
  2. hello!! i've been 14 times in marroco, i love it. quite a different culture, nice people, really cheap, an a place to do everything. you got the sahara dessert, all the cost to the altlantic and mediterranean sea which have lovely beaches. a huge range of mountains crossing fron east to west, the atlas mountain, where you can find winter climbing, and amazing trekings for unknown places. Check the toubkal area, the toubkal peack with 4100 meters, and lots of traditional climbing, ice, well a bit of everything. For trekking you have the whole country. for climbing the most impressive place is the "Gorges de Todhra", south ( 700 kilometers south from the norhtest part of the country, where the atlas mountains come to find the dessert. the nearest village is called Tinerhir. it is like 200km away from ER-Rachidia. you can find here a massive canyon with 300 meters wall of high quality orange pocketed lamstone. Traditional and sport climbing of all dificulties. you can stay in good and cheap hotels just bottom of the crack or private accomodation, camp sites. Only problem is you can find many tourist arround, but good becouse you will have allways someone to climb with. there is another good are further south, i didn't visit it yet, [probably grannit. I think is called Taffu or similar.sorry becouse the information is may be a bit confuse, bu twhatever else you need contact me please. For sure 4 weeks is nothing for marroco, and if you like climbing and travelling it is a paradise. Rehanass
